KINDERGARTEN KELLUKE
Address: Noole 11, Tallinn, Estonia
Designed by architect Raili Hurt from Nord Projekt AS.
My very first project as a junior project manager.
One of the most beautiful kindergartens in my country.
Kinderkarten Kelluke is an architectural gem that truly catches the eye. The building stands out with its bold and colorful exterior, adorned with large geometric shapes that create an inviting atmosphere.
The entrance to Kinderkarten Kelluke is a grand archway, symbolizing the gateway to knowledge and discovery. As you step inside, you are greeted by a spacious and open layout that allows natural light to flood in. The interior features curved walls and rounded corners, fostering a sense of safety and nurturing for the young students.
The classrooms are designed with flexibility in mind, offering various learning spaces that cater to different activities and group sizes. The furniture is child-friendly, with vibrant colors and ergonomic designs, promoting creativity and comfort. The windows are strategically placed to provide panoramic views of the surrounding nature, encouraging a connection to the outdoors.
The architectural elements of Kinderkarten Kelluke extend beyond the classrooms. The outdoor play areas are carefully integrated into the design, blending seamlessly with the building's structure. Colorful canopies and awnings provide shade and protection from the elements, allowing children to enjoy outdoor activities regardless of the weather conditions.
Green spaces and gardens surround the kindergarten, promoting a sense of environmental awareness and sustainability. The architecture incorporates eco-friendly features such as rainwater harvesting systems and solar panels, setting an example for the children about the importance of caring for our planet.
In summary, Kinderkarten Kelluke at Noole 11 in Estonia showcases a thoughtfully designed architecture that is both visually appealing and functional. Its cheerful and inviting exterior, combined with the spacious and nurturing interior, create an environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and a love for learning. The integration of nature and eco-conscious elements further enhances the educational experience, instilling important values of sustainability in the young community.
